THAT'S WHAT'S UP!
CLASS OF 2000's GENEVIEVE SOUMA LAUNCHES HER DEBUT GOSPEL ALBUM ...
Yes, we have MAHALIA JACKSON, SHIRLEY CAESAR, SINACH, AGATHA MOSES, my girl ZAZA and many others to choose from, when it comes to Female Gospel Artists.
However, as would be expected, given SAKER BAPTIST COLLEGE's reputation as regards singing, we have our own established SAKERETTE SONGSTRESSES, starting with Class of 1969's Sis CLAUDIA FOKAM BUMAKOR aka AUNTY CLO, down to Class of 1984's ANITA ETTA and Class of 2006/2008's WINNIE BELOMBO to mention just these 3 RECORDING artists.
I said "just these 3" because there are certainly others I am not aware of!
In fact, I had never heard of Class of 2000's EJENYI SOUMA GENEVIEVE-MIREILLE, known more simply as GENEVIEVE SOUMA earlier than a couple of weeks ago, to talk much less of knowing that she has just launched a DEBUT ALBUM entitled "DEVOTED", whose signature title, "IN YOU" doesn't have a single thing, (as in, "NWENG"), to envy from any of the "BIG NAMES" in the industry.
By the way, does this quote from the Online Publication "KamerKongosa" surprise you or anyone who knows ANYTHING about SBC??? I don't think so!
Her passion for music in general and gospel music in particular, was reinforced while she was a student of Saker Baptist College in Limbe, Cameroon. Music was so much a part of life at the all-girls’ school; they sang at every opportunity. Like she says,
“We would sing in the chapel, in the dormitory, while on the queue for roll call, during our free periods, in the refectory when meals got delayed, during preps when the power would go out …we always found an excuse or a reason to sing.”

My guess, now that you are done listening and reading, is that you'd like to get yourself your very own CD! Right?
Well, then! The album and songs can be purchased online at:

ANOTHER GEM FROM THE LADY WITH THE GOLDEN VOICE ... WITH HER CARAT'S INPUT THIS TIME AROUND!!!!!!
AS FOR CLASS OF 1988's BISHOP BERYL NALOWA ESEMBE, if you got to know about her only in the last few years, her ABSOLUTELY AMAZING HUMANITARIAN WORK on behalf of underprivileged GIRLS & WOMEN in GHANA may have prevented you from knowing about her INCREDIBLE TALENT as a SONG WRITER, COMPOSER & SINGER with a truly GOLDEN VOICE!!!
And this is totally without the aid of today's Recording Studio's Synthetic "mungang" that is capable of making even the bleating of a he goat sound like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey combined!!!!
She just came out with another GEM of a WORSHIP SONG titled "NA YOU". You may not be able to hit those HIGH OCTAVES with her, but I bet you can HUM and most definitely, DANCE & WORSHIP along ... and then go: "AWWWWW" when you hear her precious little girl SING and SPEAK her bit at the tail end of the song!!!!

OUR CARAT NEEDS OUR PRAYERS & SUPPORT!!!

Dear SAKERETTE SISTERS & COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE OF GOODWILL:

PLEASE, take a minute to read this heart-rending plea from
PROMISE FUNFE (CLASS OF 1992 - 1999, Form 1 to Upper Sixth),
on behalf of her little sister, MERCY CHEFOR, (CLASS OF 2000-2005).
(Both, by the way, are daughters of Pastor AYAFOR, a Baptist Preacher well known to many a Sakerette.)

"Hello everyone, my name is Promise Funfe and I reside in Phoenix , AZ. Mercy is my little sister, who graduated from College in Cameroon. Life was pretty normal for her untill she got infected with a rare flesh eating bacteria, suspected by doctors in Cameroon to be cutaneous Nocardiosis. This unknown infection has completely deformed her face. She has taken all kinds of treatments for her rare infection but all attempts to help her have failed and her condition has gotten worse.
I am trying to raise funds and asking for help so that Mercy can get access to better treatment else where. Any form of support will be highly appreciated. You can use this GoFundMe, cash app to $PromiseFunfe or paypal.me/mypromises Thank you on behalf of my family."

Hello, my dear kindhearted donors and Supporters,
I am very grateful for the support I have had from every one of you. My words cannot express how grateful I am. It is thanks to your kind heart that I have had the first part of my treatment done. As you can see in the recent photo, the infection looks better after several treatments and I am thankful to be alive.
The second part of my treatment is scheduled with a plastic surgeon to help reconstruct my face and I am again pleading for your support. Anything will help. Although I do not have the money, I trust and count on your kind support to push me through this last stage of my treatment. your kind support will give me another chance to get my face and self-esteem as a girl back and I will never forget the smile you will put on my face by doing so. Thank you again so much and God bless you all,
Mercy (patient).

A SISTER'S PLEA

12/5, 1:14 PM] Promise Funfe Ayafor: Aunty please that is the invoice just for the surgery. {SEE BELOW RIGHT}
Please, We have 3 thousand dollars now that can pay for their hotel, food and the labs.
Please aunty, the surgeon is asking for $13,000 000. US dollars. Labs have to be done since there was no definitive diagnosis but we have paid for those. I had no clue it will be that expensive and they wanted to see her in person before making a treatment plan.
Thank you, aunty for all you do. I am blessed to be part of the Saker sisterhood.

[12/5, 1:35 PM] Promise Funfe Ayafor: I have edited the GoFundMe and have added 13 to the amount amount there because it is in use already. I have now reset the goal to 18 which will show as 13+5, so that it is not misleading. What is showing now took care of their flights (2 people) labs at the hospital and payment of the hotel for two months Aunty. I have moved the GoFundMe goal from 30 thousand to 18 for transparency aunty. Have a lovely day.

ANGELS STILL TREAD THIS EARTH!!!
UPDATE: JANUARY 7 2018
[12/10, 7:00 AM] Egbe Monjimbo: 👆🏾Please help if you can ... or SHARE!

[12/10, 1:09 PM] DONOR: Chai...

[12/10, 1:15 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: Chai true-true, My dear Sister! 😥😥😥

[12/10, 1:21 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: At least the doctors have stopped the progress of the infection. It has stopped spreading. Just trying to raise the funds to cover the space up.
This life eh, my sister!!!!
Someone who was working happily in SONARA oh!

[12/10, 1:32 PM] DONOR: Mammie, will February be late? That's when I will be in the States. It's so difficult sending money from out here. ...Chai...

[12/10, 1:42 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: Weh, my CARING Sister eh!!!! I don't think it will be late at all, because the INVOICE sent by the Reconstructive Surgeon mentioned installments.

[12/10, 1:51 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: Which means whatever we collect, we can start off with.

[12/10, 1:52 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: I'm going to ask Promise (Mercy's sister), how much is required up front to do the surgery.

[12/10, 1:52 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: Weh! God bless you for just the THOUGHT!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤❤❤
[12/10, 3:02 PM] DONOR: Mammy, a little help like you say, goes a long way...
God bless you..

[12/10, 3:18 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: Amen! ❤❤❤

[12/11, 6:45 AM] Egbe Monjimbo: Hello aunty , I was overwhelmed when I saw the invoice showing $13000(thousand Dollars for the treatment). The hospital wants us to pay in two installments of $7000 and $6000 respectively. They want the first half of 7 grants by Wednesday so surgery can take place on Friday. I had $3000 dollars to contribute towards their two months hotel stay so I have deposited it to the hospital bank instead so that if we have $4000 by Wednesday it will complete the first installment. We can pay the hotel gradually because her treatment is really top need right now.please Aunty if we have 130 people willing to donate $100 each, this amount will be possible by God’s grace. Thank you for the love and support and more especially for the love unity and sisterhood spirit. Thank you , thank you !❤

[12/11, 6:46 AM] Egbe Monjimbo: 👆🏾My dear Sister, above is the response I got from Promise Funfe Ayafor, when I asked for precise details
.
[12/11, 7:06 AM] Egbe Monjimbo: Based on this, and given the fact that you expressed the wish to donate to this cause in February (due to banking wahala in XXXXX), and the fact that the very generous donation you gave for our Precious Conjoined Twins who passed on, (God rest their dear souls), is still available, (unable to be put to worthy use due to the wahala in Cameroon), I wanted to seek, actually BEG for your PERMISSION to transfer the money needed to this Hospital in India so this poor girl's surgery can be done oh!

[12/11, 7:11 AM] Egbe Monjimbo: Waiting anxiously for your response, because I cannot and will not touch the funds except you give the go ahead.
The plan, after the children passed was to use the balance left to purchase and donate equipment to the pediatric units of Church-based Medical facilities like the Catholic, Baptist and Presbyterian hospitals and we were already in contact with all 3 when the political wahala started and brought everything to a halt.

[12/11, 7:18 AM] Egbe Monjimbo: I just feel bad that they will cancel this poor girl's surgery if they can't pay the $6,000.00,  while this money you gave is SITTING in the bank oooooo!

[12/11, 9:02 AM]: DONOR: Please transfer it with utmost urgency... Thank you for being you Etonde...🤗🤗🤗🤗

[12/11, 9:09 AM] Egbe Monjimbo: Ooooooooooo MY JESUS EEEEEEEEEEH!!!!!!

[12/11, 9:10 AM] Egbe Monjimbo: Crying like a fool ooooo!!!! Chei, JEHOVAH!!!!!! YOU ARE GOOD!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, BLESS THIS MY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND OOOOOOO!!!! DO NOT LET THEM EVER, EVER LACK ANYTHING THAT IS GOOD!!!!

[12/11, 9:11 AM] Egbe Monjimbo: Let me find a kaba and go to that bank!!! Chei, JESUS!!!! I knew there was a reason why they closed schools today when there's no bettah snow even!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

[12/11, 2:44 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: My Sister!!!!!! It is done oh!!! CANNOT EVEN START TO THANK YOU AND MY IN-LAW!!!!!!
ONLY GOD WILL BLESS YOU!

[12/11, 2:45 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: Here is the message from Promise Funfe Ayafor, Mercy's Sister:
👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾
[12/11, 2:46 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: Hallelujah,Jesus is lord ! Please aunty Egbe, first of all thank you for being an instrument of love. My family is overwhelmed by the love you, that aunty in XXXX and her husband have shown us. Aunty this is love beyond measure , we all are in tears and do not know what we have done to deserve such a gift Aunty ooooooooo, we are speechless. Sir may the lord remember you and your wife for such good you have done, by putting a smile on mercy’s face . May the lord’s countenance shine upon you all the days of your life. Thank you !, Thank you , thank you !

[12/11, 2:53 PM] DONOR: Weh Etonde? Is there any other way it should have been done? Aren't we all instruments in God's Mighty Hand?
Please keep me posted how the surgery goes. Am going to book masses for her healing...

[12/11, 2:55 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: Now I am crying all over again! Weh! GOD WILL HEAR YOUR PRAYERS!!!

[12/11, 2:58 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: My Sister!!!! You have done wonders for her SOUL, even before her BODY gets healed!!!!

[12/11, 3:02 PM] DONOR: She IS HEALED in THE MIGHTY NAME OF our LORD JESUS CHRIST...

[12/11, 6:47 PM] Egbe Monjimbo: AAAAAAAAMEN!!!!!!

THIS IS ONE HECK OF A GLORIOUS, JOYOUS, MIRACULOUS, BLESSED STORY, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SUMMARIZE OR NARRATE, SO I WOULD RATHER LET THE ACTUAL WHATSAPP TEXT EXCHANGES THAT TRANSPIRED BETWEEN THE PARTIES INVOLVED ... AND THE BANK TRANSACTIONS THAT FOLLOWED, TELL THE STORY ...
GOD IS, INDEED AWESOME!!!
It all started off with me sending the beggy-beggy appeal below to a TON of friends, family members and acquaintances, including this dear friend who I refer to in the (VERBATIM) WhatsApp Chat we had as "DONOR" ...
AS SHOWN BELOW, THE BANK TRANSACTIONS/WIRES WERE DONE DIRECTLY TO THE HOSPITAL'S ACCOUNT BY PROMISE FUNFE & MYSELF ...
AND SO, ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14 2018, MERCY'S SURGERY WAS DONE!!!! (GLORY HALLELUJAH!!!!)
Flesh was taken from her left arm and used to cover the space eaten up by the flesh-eating bacteria. She had to be fed through her nose, as it was impossible for her to eat "normally", for VERY obvious reasons!!! And now, ...
... She has gone from not being able to eat or talk to ... SINGING, ever so BEAUTIFULLY!!!!!
Please Click on PLAY button below to hear a brief snippet of her Sunday, January 6 2019 morning praise singing ...

Heard about this must-read book titled "BEYOND CHALLENGES"???
NOT YET????? Then it's way past time you found out what it's all about and WHO authored it!

Well, it turns out that there are actually 15 "WHOs", because this INCREDIBLY CAPTIVATING book is a COLLECTION of the survival stories of 15 BORN-AND-RAISED-IN-AFRICA, FEMALE PHYSICIANS who are practicing medicine out here in the U.S. of A.
I hope that sentence alone made you rise to your feet and bellow out a resounding "GLORY HALLELUJAH!!", because the chances of the average BORN-AND-RAISED-IN-AFRICA "woman pikin" getting an education of any kind are still NOT high, to talk much less of them "falling bush" and becoming a PRACTICING MD!!!!!

Now that you have sat yourself back down and wiped the sweat off your brow, (following your standing ovation), let's get to specifics!
I'm DEAD SURE you already know that there can't; REPEAT: CANNOT be anything this WANDAFUL that involves 15 AFRICAN WOMEN without there being at least 1 SAKERETTE involved!
Well get this: There are, in fact, 4 SAKERETTES - as in, RAISED-ON-ZÉZÉ, DOCTORESSES-turned-AUTHORS in the mix!!!
There's:
Dr. Maureen Muke Class of 98/2000;
Dr. Shirley Ayuk-Takem Class of 95/97;
Dr. Nina Lum Class of 2002/2004; and
Dr. Luegenia Ndi Class of 2002/2004 !!

(My apologies to them for not adding all those letters of the alphabet that ought to follow their names, to denote their respective Specialties and Academic statuses. Running really low on PANADOL and do not want to risk the HEADACHE that is sure to come from typing out a bamboozling string of letters for each name!!! Chaaaaaach! Ah surrendah me!!! LOL!!!)

Our HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS to all 4, as well as to the other 11 AMAZING DOCTORS who co-authored this can't-put-it-down-till-you've-read-it-from-cover-to-cover book, 2 of whom are actually blood sisters: Dr. Enaka Yembe and her sister, Dr. Omerine Yembe Aseh!!!! (That's what's up!!!!!)

INTERESTED and EXCITED to read the stories of these PHENOMENAL, KICK-MAKANDI, 15 Ladies on "LIFE, LOVE AND THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE"?
I so KNEW you would be, so, without any further ado, HERE, BELOW are the LINKS you need to CLICK ON, to purchase the book - for a paltry, miserly $12.99 which, in this day and age cannot even get you one side of a pair of WALMART "yerrings"!!!

Need a little more MOTIVATION to get the book "NOW-NOW SO"? (YOU TOO!!! Chai!)
Well, here's some:
It’s already hit #1 in the NEW RELEASE category, and is ranked #5 in the BEST SELLER stats.

WE DEFINITELY NEED TO MOVE IT UP TO #1, don't you think?????

CLASS OF 2006's Ms PAMELA-LISA ARREY
DOES US PROUD AT THE 2019 MISS AFRICA GREAT BRITAIN PAGEANT!!!!
GREETINGS!!!!
Well, of all the MESSAGES I woke up to this morning of the 5th of October 2019, the most HEARTWARMING are those sent by our DAUGHTER/SISTER, CLASS OF 2006's PAMELA-LISA ARREY who, as we all know, was a Contestant in the just ended 2019 MISS AFRICA GREAT BRITAIN Pageant. Think it would be best to just do a COPY-AND-PASTE; So ...

Pamela-Lisa:
Mother, please help me share this via Email and Facebook, so it could reach out to all those who supported me through this journey. I am immensely grateful!

And here's what the "THIS" was, again "COPIED & PASTED":

Pamela-Lisa:
Good morning my dear Mama SakerPride and the whole Saker family.
I know that you all have been excited awaiting the results from yesterday's pageant performance.
But firstly, I will love to say a huge thank you again to everyone. I wouldn't have gone through this journey without all your support, tremendous publicity and advertisement (especially you mama SakerPride, you are awesome), consistency in voting, even boosting my votes by paying and your constant encouragement. I am extremely grateful. Thank you.

I didn't get to bring the crown of Miss Africa GB home but through this experience I have grown, gained exposure, built a very strong network. I made it to the top ten and was awarded the best cultural attire. I keep my head high and looking forward for best as I prepare for my upcoming professional internship and equally prepare to do the ACCA certification, after obtaining my MSc in Accounting and Finance.
May God continue to bless you all immensely. Once more thank you very much.
Much love ❤. A few pictures attached.... {*They're posted above}

Only one THING to add to say after that:
I am even more IMPRESSED by this young woman's tenacity and resilience! HONESTLY! Cannot applaud her more for her "MOVING RIGHT ALONG" attitude, as opposed to the very commonly seen "THROW-A-FIT", "BLAME-AND-CURSE-EVERYONE-INCLUDING-GOD-AND-YO-MAMA", and "BITTER-PASS-BITTERLEAF-SEP-SEP" attitude!!!
Would have LOVED to see her WIN the entire Pageant! Would have been ELATED, actually, BUT, I would want to believe that for MANY, if not all of us, this was never really ONLY about WINNING. It was just as important, perhaps even MORE IMPORTANT, for this DAUGHTER/SISTER of ours to KNOW that She - and her Dreams MATTER to us!!! THAT'S ONE HECK OF A SOUL & CONFIDENCE BOOSTER that no amount of GOLD or SILVER could ever buy. It is simply PRICELESS and I join her in THANKING YOU for your KINDNESS!

KUDOS, Dear Pamela-Lisa. The only person who could be PROUDER of you than US, your "OTHER MOTHERS", Sisters, Brothers, Aunties and Uncles, would be THE MOTHER WHO BIRTHED YOU and who, before her early, very recent demise, DEFINITELY accomplished the task of RAISING YOU RIGHT, with brio!!!! (God Rest Her Soul!) Will be checking WhatsApp eagerly for a picture of YOU in your GRADUATION ROBE! GO, BABY, GO!!!!!
CLASS OF 1981's Mrs. BEATRICE MENSAH TAYUI,
PRESIDENT AND CEO OF CYBELE ENERGY, Ltd.
SPEAKS ON WVON CHICAGO'S "THE WORLD AS WE SEE IT" (Sunday, December 29 2019)
GREETINGS!
So Sunday came along and I reached back some 4 decades into my past and incorporated into the afternoon, an aspect of my S.B.C routine I haven't "partaken" of, in years! Since I graduated from the school, pretty much!
I actually "TOOK SIESTA"!!!
Why? Because I wanted to make sure I was WIDE AWAKE and ALERT when 8:00 p.m. (EST) came around!
Why? Because I didn't, for any reason, want to miss listening to the The PRESIDENT and CEO of CYBELE ENERGY Ltd. - which, by the way, is an OIL and GAS Company that, to quote verbatim from my Google Search, is "focused on exploiting proven oil and gas fields, marginal oilfields, mature oilfields and the execution of field redevelopment and abandonment on Land and in shallow water."

So, I bet you're thinking, WHAT exactly about this probably NIGERIAN "MAGUIDA" or ARAB SHEIK of an OIL & GAS Company CEO/PRESIDENT piqued MA SakerPride's interest?
Well, this PRESIDENT/CEO in question, is NOT a MAN pikin, to start with!
She is every bit a WOMAN - a WIFE, (with over 3 DECADES of BLISSFUL MATRIMONY under her belt), and a MOTHER of 3 well-adjusted children.
She also just happens to be the "girl" whose classroom desk was directly behind mine from FORM 1 to FORM 5 in Saker Baptist College, (since those desks were arranged in ALPHABETICAL order by Last Name), and the same "chick" with whom I went on to share a BENCH in LA1 and UA1 in CCAST BAMBILI!!!
She was BEATRICE OROCK MENSAH in those good old days, and then she got married to Dr. EBENEZER N. TAYUI, first son of SAKER BAPTIST COLLEGE's First Black and Longest Serving Principal, Mr. WILLIAM N. TAYUI, aka "BABA", and erstwhile TUTOR, himself, at SBC.

Should probably pause right here and "ABSOLVE" anyone who ASSUMED this VIP was a MAN of their "guilt"!
TRUTH BE TOLD, the bold and significant strides made by WOMANKIND notwithstanding, no matter how you slice the IGBO COCO, this is still very much A MAN'S WORLD, (like the JAMES BROWN song says)! "GLASS CEILINGS" are still very much in place - just ask HILLARY CLINTON, and there just are certain fields or domains where the GENDER DISPARITY is even more pronounced!
FACT: "BLACK", "AFRICAN", "FEMALE", "WIFE", "MOTHER", (with EXCEPTIONAL, FINGAH-LICKING KOKI, EKPANG, NDOLE and BURNING FISH Culinary Skills), are definitely NOT "epithets" that, even in this day and time, would commonly be associated with the position of PRESIDENT and CEO of an OIL and GAS COMPANY of CYBELE ENERGY Ltd.'s Caliber and Scope!

So, at 7:45 p.m. I, (without the help of either of the 2 MILLENIALS who live at this same address), went to my cell phone's PLAY STORE, downloaded "iHEART RADIO" and found the WVON RADIO STATION (aka THE TALK OF CHICAGO) Actually caught the last 10 minutes of a fantastic sermon, halla-ed an impressive number of "AMENs" and then settled down to LISTEN to - and also WATCH Mrs. BEA MENSAH TAYUI, LIVE on "STRAIGHT TALK RADIO"'s FACEBOOK PAGE!
Saying she did CAMEROON, GHANA, AFRICA, SBC, THE CLASS OF 1981, WOMEN, etc. PROUD, is a factual statement! She was ARTICULATE, ELOQUENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE and PROFESSIONAL, COMFORTABLE and WELL-VERSED in all the subjects and topics broached!
WHAT AN INSPIRATION FOR OUR DAUGHTERS & GRANDDAUGHTERS!

Well, in my capacity as "9 MONTH CARRIER & BORNER", I "confiscated" the cell phone of one of my offspring, used a sturdy "ELASTIC", (as in rubber band) to attach it to mine, and proceeded to RECORD the AUDIO! Unfortunately, the confiscated phone "TIMED OUT" and Ma knew not the password to get back in! (Tried all the "GARRI 2019" "OKROSOUP 2010" and "MBANGA SOUP_93" passwords I had seen and heard used, but NONE worked so ... MY BAD! Just ENJOY the RE-BROADCAST posted above!

Nothing else left to say but BRAVO, BT!!!! GODSPEED!!!

THE SOCIETY OF EXPLORATION GEOPHYSICISTS
NAMES CLASS OF 1978's PROFESSOR Mrs. ESTELLA NKWATE ATEKWANA
GLOBAL LECTURER!

Now, which of us, would be disposed to take the following course :

BIOGEOPHYSICS: EXPLORING THE EARTH'S SUBSURFACE BIOSPHERE USING GEOPHYSICAL APPROACHES

ONE PERSON? TWO? THREE? Not surprised at all. Anything involving words like "BIO" and "PHYSICS" is almost as mind-boggling to many of us as this COVID-19 thing itself!

Okay! Let me ask a different question:
WHICH ONE OF US WOULD BE QUALIFIED TO ACTUALLY GIVE A LECTURE ON THE SUBJECT??

If you dared raise your hand - and you are not CLASS OF 1978's PROFESSOR ESTELLA NKWATE ATEKWANA, then chances are, you're fibbing!

Seriously though, it turns out that THE SOCIETY OF EXPLORATION GEOPHYSICISTS has named Our Very Own Dr. Mrs. ESTELLA NKWATE ATEKWANA "GLOBAL LECTURER" , and she will, in fact, be giving the aforementioned lecture!

Is it possible they may have made this choice in error?
Read for yourself what her ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS and CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS are, below, and decide for yourself!!!
Truth is, you might be able to "get by", as in "JAMBOX" your way through some "PIERRE ET SEYDOU" kind of lecture, but "BIOGEOPHYSICS"??????? FAT CHANCE!

CONGRATULATIONS, Sis ESTE! YOU'VE MADE US ALL SO VERY PROUD - YET AGAIN, and LORD KNOWS, WE COULD USE SOME UPLIFTING NEWS, RIGHT ABOUT NOW!!!

CELEBRATION OF Mrs. COMFORT NJICHO ENIE'S
70th BIRTHDAY!
(LIMBE: Friday 19th and Saturday 20th March 2021)
In this day and age when we have, more than at any other time in our lifetime, learned to be GRATEFUL for every single breath we draw, it should come as no surprise to anyone that Mrs. COMFORT NJICHO ENIE's hitting the 70th BIRTHDAY MILESTONE was celebrated with as much POMP & GUSTO as it was, on the 20th of March 2021 in Limbe.

The celebration began with her CLASS OF 1970 classmates, better known as the TEEN GENERALS, who were with her at FINI HOTEL (LIMBE) from Friday the 19th and joined the EXSSA LIMBE CHAPTER to celebrate her on Saturday, ushering her into the reception held in her honor and presenting her with a LOVELY Birthday Cake.

"MUMMY ENIE", as she is fondly called, is the proud Mother of five children, one of whom is a man of the cloth currently serving in the United States (FATHER Epie Emeh), and two of whom are SAKERETTES:
- Clara Ngowo Enie (Class of 1996) and
Christelle Iteke Enie Epse Biame Meh (Class of 1999)

She's also Aunt to three SAKERETTES:
- Hannah Masombe Epse Ngando (Class 1993),
- Elizabeth Asek Wilson Epse Tenjei (Class 2002), and
- Abigail Ngole Wilson Epse Abamukong (Class 2005)

Finally, she's Grand Mother to Nyangoh Bakhita Lois Enie (Class 2016), and within ExSSA, she has served as TIKO CHAPTER PRESIDENT and also as NATIONAL AUDITOR.
We certainly wish her many more Happy, Healthy and BLESSED years ahead.
