They elected their new executive in the month of February 2019, but it is not until Saturday, March 2nd 2019 that they met for a FORMAL INAUGURATION DINNER which also doubled as a 50th Birthday Celebration.
As the PICTURES show, it was GRAND, it was CLASSY, it was FUN and it was dripping and oozing SISTERHOOD!!!!

"GALENTINES LOVEMEET"
(Saturday, 29th February 2020)
VALENTINES DAY this year fell on a FRIDAY, so, especially for those who do have a J-O-B, "celebrations" were moved to SATURDAY the 15th or even SUNDAY the 16th.
Well, the SMART ladies of the SAKERETTES OF DALLAS (S.O.D.) GROUP, realizing that this 2020 LEAP YEAR'S "JARRAH"/BONUS DAY, (as in, the 29th of FEBRUARY), happens to be a SATURDAY, decided to be the ones to SAVE THE VERY BEST FOR THE VERY LAST, and have what they termed a "GALENTINE LOVEMEET"!
Here's how the group's PIONEER PRESIDENT put it:
"Sakerettes of Dallas ( SOD) had a “ GALANTINE LOVEMEET”!! We are STRONG, GLAMOROUS, SELF-LOVING and GODLY women who meet to lift each other up on the journey of self love. We know who WE ARE, unapologetically, and we thank God everyday for the responsibilities we each have. We have learned not to always have “ meetings “ but instead we have “ Lovemeets” with no particular agenda, not thinking about the next event we’ll organize etc but we have chosen to pause and learn how to love ourselves and have purposeful relationships . It’s so nice to just relax sometimes and be served. SOD OYEE!!!
And what a "LOVEMEET" this was, not just because of the DRESSED-TO-THE-SLAYING-NINES Red Outfits the ladies wore, the BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED home they met in and the A-LA-CARTE Dinner they had, but, (as they themselves say), particularly because they were THRILLED to have in their midst, 2 of their sisters who had not been able to attend meetings for MONTHS and MONTHS, because of ill health!! PRAISE GOD FOR HEALING MERCIES and for this SISTERHOOD that PRAYED and LOVED THEM RIGHT BACK TO HEALTH!!!
